Perfect timing! I have been feeling like a drill Sgt with my two-yr old. I feel like I am no fun at all. I need help! My husband is so good at play time. What are some great games and fun we can do together??
Thanks-

I am feeling like I am being to hateful to my 25 month old little girl. When I tell her No, she smiles and does it anyway. Help!

My goodness...I couldn't have heard a better program today. I have a 16 mo. old boy and a 2 1/2 yr old girl. They keep me hoppin' and yesterday I was about to have a meltdown! My husband is self employed and works at home, so when I got the little ones down for their naps, I looked at my husband and told him I was leaving! He laughed and said, "Are you coming back?" He had witnessed the type of morning I had. So I hopped in my car...and low and behold...Midday Connection and Barbara Curtis saved the day! What a comforting thing to hear another mom share. Thank you!

Fabulous timing! Thank you, thank you. I have a 17 year old, senior girl and a just turned, 2 year old boy. One's demands are not greater than the other~ both are at a time in their life when being "Mom-at-home" has never been more crucial. And, oh yes, I have my own homebased business and work outside our home 5-6 nights a month.
I'm up early with the baby, getting breakfast and starting our day, the night before last I was up until midnight with my daughter sewing and decorating ribbons for the varsity soccer team~ last night my daughter and I got home around 9:30, she played soccer in the pooring rain (even the Indians game was canceled) while another Mom and I worked concessions. Got home and my husband was having trouble getting the baby down, (he usually has no problem)so instead of a warm (quiet) shower, it was a warm blanket with a precious boy inside, who wouldn't sleep!! Once the baby fell asleep, my husband wanted to go over newly arrived literature regarding a pending decision to continue working full time and enter law school...you get the picture, I know you have lived this experience.
Midday Connections is a life line for me, but you have peaked my curiosity about Blogs and I am so encouraged just from what I've read so far. Blessings to you...
