Anne Rice

It is incredible, the work God can do in the human heart.

I posted a few days ago about Anne Rice's recent spiritual revelation. Now World has published an excellent article on Rice by Lynn Vincent, as well as a review of her new book Christ the Lord by Gene Veith - both writers I very much admire and trust.

I've order the book and am looking forward to reading it.

The most wonderful thing is to read the words of Anne herself:

"I've never been this happy in my life before," she said. "I never expected things to come together like this, to be so completely unified in purpose and intent."

"I feel like I have this wonderful challenge ahead of me . . . that will fill up my whole life until I die. There's so much to study, so much to ponder, so much to write, so much to know. It's like finding a wing on your house that you didn't know was there, opening the door and discovering rooms of treasure."

It would be so hard to believe, except that I've known the same feelings when God has done open heart surgery on me.

Love,

I can't wait to hear your review of Anne Rice's book. I must admit that I am going to wait to read it until I hear what you have to say. :)

I watched with amazement when Ann Rice was interviewed on The Today Show a few weeks back. I just wanted to cry. You can see the change in her whole demeaner (sp). It is a glorious transformation!
I loved listening to her proclaim Christ to Matt Lauer on the top of the Chrysler building. It was priceless.
Glad to share the joy with a fellow blogger....no one seems to care at my house ;o)
