KS Milkmaid needs our prayers for tomorrow

From Christina:

The preliminary trial is now upon us. It is scheduled for June 19th at 2:00 p.m. Please pray that God will protect us from ruthless cruelty from the defense. God has given us immense peace over the past two weeks. We are praying for courage and ask that others join us in praying tomorrow for strength and protection.

While Christina is limited in what she can share publicly right now, please know that there are a lot of details and important decisions for which she will need God's minute-by-minute guidance.

I know it's difficult to find time to pray in the way we often think of prayer - as set-aside time dedicated solely to the Lord. It was really that kind of dilemma and always feeling spiritually inferior which drove me to the realizations I wrote about in Lord, Please meet Me in the Laundry Room: Spiritual Help for Earthly Moms. And those realizations, I later discovered, were actually as old as time - that you can learn to feel God's presence and speak to him any time during the day: while switching clothes from washer to dryer, waiting for a child's dentist appointment, or sitting through a soccer game.

Let's all dedicate the hours between now and 2:00 tomorrow (Kansas time) to praying for all members of the Fuller family that God's love and protection and guidance and justice will be evident as they walk through the events before them.

I am comforted to know that God has used the Internet to increase our awareness of needs that require extra prayer support and to build strong bonds of Christian sisterhood and love. Christina has shown great love and courage in opening this part of her life to us to learn and grow from in whatever ways God leads us. I feel privileged that we can share in this small way in helping her through her trials.

Please leave your messages for her in the comments as she will be reading them.

May God have mercy on us all!

Love,

Christina,
The Lord brought you to my mind early this morning and I will use Barbara's column today as a reminder of your need for prayers. May you and your dear children know His peace and comfort.

I'm going through personal struggles myself, but in different ways than you. I'm learning to trust God minute by minute for His peace and love. It's painful, but so far He's been faithful to show me He's there. I know He's doing this for you as well.
I'll be praying for you.
Some scriptures that are helping me in my life right now-
Psalm 143, Isa. 26:3, Rom. 8, Psalm 42:1, Rom. 15:13
The references are from memory so some may be off by a verse or two.
Psalm 42:1 (I think!)
"God is our refuge and strength, a VERY PRESENT help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear."

We're with you in prayer Christina! You have support all over the US and you are not alone. "God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit".

Christina, I'm still praying for you and your family to know God's peace and comfort. May He strengthen you as only He can.
