Free downloadable flash cards, coloring pages, art

Here is a fabulous website with over 3,000 downloadable beautifully-illustrated alphabet cards, flash cards, coloring pages, murals, games, and even how-to-draw videos - whimsical child-friendly art from a very generous artist who has provided this all to us for free.
Visit Jan Brett.
This is one reason why I recommend investing in a laminating machine. I splurged on one when I began homeschooling in 1990 and I still use it today. It will lengthen the lifespan of many of your mommying/teaching materials and you can laminate pictures and cartoons your family likes.
If the price is a stretch, go in with a few friends and share one. Or ask your mom for one for your birthday! Just please tell her to order it by linking through MommyLife!
And I really want to hear back how you like the Jan Brett site. There's some amazing stuff there - check out the manual alphabet (sign language).

Wow! This is great. There is so much there to see and do. The art work is darling, and I can't wait to use all of these resources. I'm seeing a laminator in my future.....

I was so excited to pass this on to my sister. She is 11 and loves to draw. Thanks for sharing this.
