Samantha's Guatemala adoption update

Samantha (my oldest daughter and mother of five grandchildren) just emailed me pictures of the baby they are hoping to adopt in Guatemala. How I wish I could share the pictures with you - but I can't for adoption privacy reasons.

For those new here, Kip and Samantha began this process two years ago. Their story - in brief form - is here. They have been to Guatemala three times to begin a relationship with a baby. Following those visits, one baby died and in the other two cases the mother changed her mind - which is a good outcome, of course.

This is their fourth attempt. They are stuck in the paperwork/judicial system phase. It is heartbreaking to see pictures of a baby you know will be yours who is waiting in an orphanage while the process takes its course.

Samantha asks:

Here are recent pictures of our little one who is waiting down in Guatemala. If you think of it, please pray that if it is the Lord's will, our paperwork would work through the system miraculously fast so that we could be her family all the sooner. She is now 6 months old.
Thanks,
Samantha

Can't wait to hear her good news!
