Celebrating Down syndrome - a Mother's Day photo album
Last year I unveiled a very special Mother's Day photo album, which has continued to grow this year - now with 95 mother/child portraits:
You can see the photos and read the moms comments at Our Little Extras - A Mother's Day Down Syndrome Celebration.
Or watch the slideshow:
Please send me yours if you'd like to be included! The more, the merrier!

What wonderful pictures! They were all special, and I couldn't help but smile with joy along with each mother, but some of them really stood out to me: the ones with older kids, the ones where the moms and their children were doing the same thing (the same facial expression, the same activity, the same pose) and the ones that were just so artistically beautiful. I remember years ago hearing about a professional photographer who couldn't understand why a family wanted to include their handicapped child in a family portrait. I'm so glad that this horrible mindset has changed.
