Young@Heart - must-see movie!

Young%20%40%20Heart%20%282007%29.jpg

While in Kansas this week, I had an interview fall through and decided to go see a movie. Everywhere I looked were the same five or six movies, two of which I'd seen in the last month (Prince Caspian and Iron Man - both worth seeing) and nothing else I would consider.

But through Fandango I stumbled on the Glenwood Arts Theater in Overland Park where I saw an off-the-beaten-track movie - Young@Heart. Checking at Rotten Tomatoes, I found it got a solid 88% and so I was on my way.

Boy, am I glad I did! As is so often the case, this little gem outshone its bigger box office brothers. I laughed and cried - all by myself - and I have already looked up where it's playing nearest me (35 miles away) so maybe I can take the family and see it again.

Anyone who loves music or people will not be left the same after this movie. It will change the way you hear songs and will leave you with unforgettable friends:

Love,

Sounds like a great movie. I am adding it to my summer activity list.

Thanks for the thumbs-up, Barbara, I've seen the trailer many times and was wondering if it's as good as it looks.
