Heart for Africa necklace - adoption fundraiser
Stumbled on this today:
At this time our Hearts are in Africa. My Daughter and son in law are Adopting a precious little girl from Africa. 100% of the sale will go to them for travel expenses to Africa. Feel free to read the Blog.
This fine silver pendant I created in the shape of Africa and added a cut out of a Heart. I hand finished this pendant and added a medium patina. I paired this with an 18 inch sterling silver chain. I will gladly personalize this Pendant free of charge.

I know several people who've adopted children from countries in Africa. And there are lots of other reasons to have a heart for Africa (see my African reading journey - really, I can't recommend these books highly enough).
I don't know this person and have no interest in promoting her product. I just found her response to her daughter's need impressive and the necklace she created very poignant on many levels.
